ASA is now carrying a line of infra-red heaters. These heaters are a great addition to any outdoor living space, enabling people to enjoy the outdoors year around. The heaters have a "slimline" look with no orange glow or odor, giving them a unique aesthetic appeal.
So what is infra-red heat?
Infra-Red heat is similar to the heat you would feel from the sun. Rather than heating the air around you, it heats surfaces and objects in a given zone or area. This means wind will not blow it away and it won't overwhelm you. It provides a subtle, comfortable warmth.
Is it safe?
Yes. eRAD Heaters are 100% safe for both humans and animals no matter how long or how frequently you use them.
Gas or Electric?
eRAD heaters are electric. Please consult an electrician before installation. 220V models will require an electrician to install.
Where can I put my heater?
Our heaters are IPX4 rated which means they are safe from splashing water - but not waterproof. This makes them perfect for any covered outdoor patio or gazebo. They can also be installed indoors. They are in fact more effective indoors or in an enclosed area.
How do I control my heater?
Each heater comes with a remote control with 2, 4, and 8 hour automatic shut off. You can also control the level heat being provided at 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% heat.
Can I mount my heater?
Yes. Each heater comes with mounting brackets and hardware for easily installation.
Is it expensive to run my heater?
eRAD heaters are energy efficient. The hourly cost to run will vary depending on the rate from your local provider, the power the heater uses, and the frequency with which you use the heater.
For example, a 2400 watt unit being used for 4 hours a day at a per kilowatt hour cost of 13 cents(kwh) costs $1.25/day to use.
2.4kW(power) x 4hours(time)= 9.6kWh(energy)
9.6kWh x $.13kWh=$1.25/day
The efficient cost, slimline look, no odor, and minimal maintenance make eRAD heaters an excellent addition to any outdoor living space.
